Stanton Drew Stones - Sunrise, 1 May 2009

 

This is now a Mendip Morris Men tradition inasmuch as we've danced here two years running but, hey, you've got to start somewhere.

 

After we'd greeted a rather half-hearted dawn through the medium of dance several of us had a go at dowsing around the standing stones with Brian Kemplay's rods - spooky, huh?

 

 

Then it was off to the nearby Druids pub for a well-deserved full English breakfast.

 

 

A fine tradition, I think you'll agree!
